Looking back on Electric Feel radio show 152, a big highlight for us was the exclusive guest DJ mix from Florida drum & bass pioneer AK1200. After the show, we arrived for his thunderous set at Junxion Bar. Thanks to the fine folks at PHAT Entertainment our ears continue to ring. Submotion Orchestra‘s delicate new single “Thinking” brought dubstep, soul, and jazz to our Freak Frequency. From 1993, Roland Faber & his Tranceparents’ techno classic “Child Three” emerged as our Old School Feel. In the Techno Test Lab, Norwegian producer Lindstrøm received the Todd Terje treatment on “Vōs-Sākō-Rv.”

On Electric Feel radio show 151, on Friday January 11, 2013, Amon Tobin presented the next brutalist masterpiece wired under his Two Fingers guise, “Vengeance Rhythm,” with a brooding, powerful remix courtesy of Bristol’s KOAN Sound, in our Freak Frequency.
Detroit techno pioneer Derrick May produces under the moniker Rhythim Is Rhythim, in the Old School Feel. We brought his 1987 classic ‘”Strings Of Life” to the turntable.
We welcomed Team Tryptonite member Josh Romea as our guest DJ. His exclusive mix incorporates bass-heavy tech house.
In the Techno Test Lab, we highlighted Gesaffelstein and his take on French electro rockers Justice, and their “Helix.“
Join us each week as we mix live from 8pm-10pm on 91.3 FM in Tucson, and KXCI.org
